I decided to stop up at Fort Hill and setup my camera just in case the sky decided to behave. I also wanted to try out a new set of filters I recently purchased and do some sort of long exposure. As soon as I got my camera setup the colors started to appear and I knew that I couldn’t have asked for a better sky. I do wish that it hadn’t of been so cold outside though.

After I saw this image pop up on the back of my camera I knew that it was well worth the numb, frozen fingers and cherry red ears. I was also glad I decided to capture some cloud movement because I feel it really adds to the photograph.

Maybe one of these days Mother Nature will give me a sky like this after a long, early morning hike to a scenic, mountain overlook.
